February 25 – May 1 2013 – A Comprehensive Study of Final Cut Pro X
LOCATION: AACTe – Healdsburg High School Campus, Healdsburg, California
Monday/Wednesday Evenings from 6:00pm – 8:30pm
DETAILS: This 9-week hands-on course, taught specifically to students in the Sonoma County Office of Educations Adult Education Program, teaches students to perform basic editing functions while becoming familiar with the Final Cut Pro user interface.

May 29-31 2013 – Healdsburg Unified School District Graduation Events
LOCATION:
Rec Park, Healdsburg, California
DETAILS:
John & a production team from HHS Digital Video will be providing all of the technical support for HUSD’s Annual Graduation Events. This is an outdoor event that will draw close to 3000 people over the 2 days and gives students a real life/hands on opportunity to engineer a live audio event.

June 12-14, 2010 – INFOCOMM Convention
LOCATION:
Orange County Convention Center, Orlando, Florida
DETAILS: John will be teaching on the topics of “Building a Digital Video Program From The Ground Up” and  “Live Video Mixing with Multiple Camera’s”.

June 17-21 2013 – Digital Video Camp
LOCATION:
Healdsburg High School, Healdsburg, CaliforniaMonday thru Friday 9:00am – 12:00pm
DETAILS:
This camp gives students an overview of the digital filmmaking process.  We will learn the planning process, cover camera operation, video composition techniques and digital video editing on Apples Final Cut Pro software.  Monday is introduction and pre-production.  Tuesday is Camera/Shooting Lesson and Production, Wednesday is Filming and Intro to Editing. Thursday is Editing and Friday is Editing/Finishing with a screening or student videos at the end of the week.
